Flexitank

We, company Büscherhoff have invented and launched the first worldwide flexitank system which consists of multiple layers of PE-film more than 10 years ago. Our flexitanks are an excellent alternative to tank containers, ISO-tanks, change, cans, drums, and other packagings which are used for the transport and storage of liquid products, not falling under the dangerous goods regulation. Since the market launch we have constantly advanced our system, thus we can offer one of the safest flexitank with the highest quality on the market today. Our flexitanks are not only used by the worldwide biggest flexitank operators but also in the chemical industry because of their high degree of safety and the good compatibility. Furthermore we offer our customers a compatibility test free of charge.

“Good” is not good enough for us and therefore we are continously improving our system. Company Büscherhoff is a member of the COA (Container Owner Association) and develops further the already existing system regarding their practical terms and is constantly researching new developments. Those new developments are pushed on by the COA and their “Code of Practise”, the world´s biggest ocean carriers as well as the German association for technical inspection (TÜV).

Our flexitank production process is DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 certified, our flexitanks are certified by German association for technical inspection (TÜV) and our standard flexitank system passed the rail impact test in Görlitz with no damage.

Furthermore our flexitanks are Kosher certified.

The flexitanks can be fitted with different equipments for filling, emptying and outgasing.

Moreover, the flexitanks can be expanded with the help of different fittings such as valves, hoses and reinforcing plates which are manufactured in-house. Our flexitanks are used in either 20ft or 40ft sea containers, in reefer containers and on standard truck trailers.

In very close co-operation with the customer these flexitanks are manufactured for volumes from 10,000 litres up to 28,000 litres. The filling volume always depends on the density of liquid to be transported. It is important that the filling weight will not exceed 24 tons
