History

Company Büscherhoff Spezialverpackung GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1985 by Mr. Bernd Büscherhoff onto 595 m² and with three employees. Already at that time the principal was the production of high-quality and customer-specific film products.
After five years already, in January 1990, the company expanded and moved to the new administration and production facility at the Gewerbering in Steinfeld. The total area came up to 2000 m².
In the very same year another sales office has been established as well a small production subsidiary called “SAK N.V.” in Belgium which offered a better support for our customers as well as just-in-time deliveries and the installation of container liners.

As the new buildings in Steinfeld became too small very quickly, the production surface has been enlarged to about 4.000 m² in 1992. Additionally the storage buildings had been extended to 2.000 m² in 1999.
For a better support of our customers in the South- and East European countries we opened a third production and administration plant in Kalesija, Bosnia-Herzegovina called “Büscherhoff-Plastikal d.o.o.” in 2000, this was our third production plant with administration. On 6500 m² total area and 95 employees we extrude, produce and sell our products.
In order to develop the Russian and also the East-European market, we opened a sales office in Nischnij Nowgorod (Russia) approx. 300 km to the east of Moscow in 2005.
With the ambition to centralize the duties and requirements of the Russian market, we displaced the sales department to Moscow with the alternative to open our own production facility. At the end of 2006 we opened a further sales office in Santiago de Chile in order to assure a better support service in Latin America.
